Description
In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At FCBC's Emerald Crossing VBS, kids in grades PK-3* to 5th grade for the school year 26-27, journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-King David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.
Through Psalm 23, kids will learn:
- Day 1: Lost to Found – Jesus is the Good Shepherd who finds us when we’re lost. What amazing hope for every child to know they belong in God's family!
- Day 2: Wrong Path to Right Path – God’s Word guides us like a GPS back to where we need to be. Our kids learned that spending time in the Bible helps us follow God’s plan.
- Day 3: Fearful to Peaceful – God is always with us, so we don’t have to be afraid. When scary things happen, we can talk to God about our worries and trust Him to take care of us.
- Day 4: Grumbling to Grateful – Instead of complaining, we can choose to be thankful for all the good things God gives us. His goodness is everywhere—we just need to look!
- Day 5: Shaky to Sure – God’s promises are rock solid! When we trust Jesus, we can be confident that His goodness and love will follow us every single day.
